Good morning 9:30 CST

All is relatively quiet here this morning. I know things will change as the afternoon approaches. The orthopedic doctor has visited and said everything is looking good. She's had breakfast, but didn't eat much. She seems a bit tired today - too funny yesterday. She does have clean sheets etc. and that makes a big difference. We still haven't heard a release date and hope it won't be much longer. We are missing Birmingham and family and friends.

Lydia--

Your Aunt said that you get to read these now, so please know I love you very much and wish with that I could be there with you right now. You are my best friend and thank you for being so strong! Please know I'm praying constantly. Can't wait to jazz up your wheelchair. Brett's right, it will be the cutest thing ever! Miss you terribly! Hope your day is good.

Lydia,

Gidi and I are so hsppy with the good news that is coming about your recovery. We can't wait to see you and hug you!

We've had fun imagining all the talk and teasing going on now that Ginny, Jonathan and Andi are there. Take care to save your energy as you have a lot of healing to do yet.
We love you all .... and that especially includes you and John, Audrey!!!

Lydia,

We are so happy that you are now in a room and hopefully the mail room will forward our card to you. You are still in our daily thoughts and prayers.

Hey Lydia,
I am so glad you are doing better and that God is giving you more strength each and every day. You have been on my prayers since I found out on Sunday, along with many more people I have shared this with. You really touch my heart, because you can find even the smallest ray of light in a rough situation. I am so sorry this happened to you, but at the same time because of this and your wonderful spirit I am being blessed... through reading your updates, watching God's grace on you, and knowing that you are being so positive. I love you girl and will continue to lift you up in prayer. Looking forward to hearing more great updates!
In God's Grace,
Melanie Reese

Good morning Lydia! You don't know us, but your mom has taught 3 of my 4 girls kindergarten at West. I'm sure you've heard this many, many times, but we LOVE Mrs. Jost!! We are all praying for a speedy recovery for both you and Ginny and for patience for your parents:) Hope you get to come home soon--that always makes you feel better!

Love,

Lydia,
I am very happy to hear that you are in your own room and improving so rapidly. I promise that I will get some squash ready for you--just give me the word! Your life is surely "purpose driven." I know that Hollon and I are learning from you each and every day. Happiness is a choice, and you are showing us all that the bumps in our "road of life" are what we make of them. Keep the choice to be happy. We love you very much.
