Update 10:00 p.m. CST

Lydia is on a waiting list for a room but hasn't received one yet. We can only visit ICU 3 times a day and that is why the updates are not as frequent. We (Audrey and John) are now in a room in the Ronald McDonald house across the street from the hospital. We are so thankful to have a place to stay close to Lydia. The house has been fabulous providing meals as well as a room. Volunteers from the community provide meals for families. We are so grateful. We continue to be uplifted by your prayers and comments. They did find another laceration on the back of Lydia's head. The trauma doctor will look at it tonight and will give us an update in the morning. We won't visit again until 9:30 a.m. CST and will try to update you again then.

Dear Lydia,
We've all been pulling for you and have put you on about a dozen prayer lists here in Auburn--I'm sure that the Lord listens to them FIRST!
Your Mom and Dad have done a great job of keeping us posted.
Remember that you've got lots of people down here that love you. Hope you'll be home soon.
With much love,
Wes Ellis--I suppose that should be "Uncle Wes"?

Lydia,

I'm finally able to come to see you! Jonathan and Andi are willing to let me join their roadtrip tomorrow even though I am a one-armed, one-legged hassle ;) I can't WAIT to physically be able to witness that you are okay. I love you so much! Stay strong, you are doing great and I am so proud of my big sister :)

Mom and Dad,

I have missed you both SO much! I can't wait to see you, hug you and help in any way I can. You're being so strong for Lydia and I am lucky to call you my parents. I love yall and will see you tomorrow. -Gin

Audry & John,
Just remember that you have a HUGE network of folks supporting you and Lydia and the rest of your family. I am so happy to see that Lydia is getting better each day. I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I'm glad you've gotten in the Ronald McDonald house so that you can be close by but also comfortable. Please don't hesitate to call if there is anything we can do while y'all are in Chattanooga.
Much love and God bless.
John Ellis

Hi John and Audrey - This is my second attempt at sending a message. The first one didn't work. Steve and I just want yall to know that we are praying for all of you. We are all so happy to hear that Lydia is improving. Keep up the good work, Lydia. Every day you'll get a little stronger and before you know it you'll be on your way home. Stephanie, Audrey and Michael are all praying for you too. Michael wanted to drive to Chattanooga as soon as he heard about the accident. God is so good!!! Thank you God for taking care of Lydia
