Lydia Update July 6th, 5:40 a.m. by Audrey

I called this morning and she had a very stable night. She responded well to the nurse during the night. We will visit at 9:30 CST and hope her breathing tube will be out.

Audrey,
You are all in my prayers and thoughts. My heart goes out to you as one mother to another. I pray Lydia will have a complete recovery and God gives you the strength you need in each and every moment of her recovery. With much love! Lori Culotta

Audrey,
We have been praying for Lydia and your family since midnight on the
4th. I got Leslie's email on my phone while we were at a neighborhood party, and I immediately forwarded the email to people who I know were so blessed to have you as a teacher. I am so glad that there is a blog to keep us informed. It will be better to know how to pray for her. I hope that God will give you the strength that you will need to support Lydia through all of this. I'll never forget the time you carried the boy who broke his arm on the playground by the fields (during the water party). The firetruck showed up and you carried the boy over and showed him the cool truck and you were so brave for him. I know how strong you are inside and out, and I know these accidents (both girls) will truely test your strength. I know Lydia will make a full recovery, but the road will be long. May God be with you (and your family) through each and every minute of this journey. You are very special to our family, and we will stay informed and pray for you all.
God Bless the JOST family!!!

Audrey Lou and John,
Spina here - OMG - I enlisted the power of all the prayer warriors I could think of as soon as I heard the news. I'm so thankful that Lydia is doing better. Y'all are on my mind and in my prayers constantly. I just can't imagine going through all that you have in the last month or so. PLEASE let me know if there is ANYTHING I can do. I'm very available - anytime, anywhere, to do anything! Love you all!
Cameron - thanks so much for this blog. I was going crazy yesterday waiting for information!

Audrey, John and Lydia-
Know that the Wisconsin family is thinking of you and praying for you. It is clear you are well-loved by both friends and family. Thanks, Cam for the website-it will save us bothering your mom for info. Ginny-we hope your healing continues. Stay strong, Josts.
Love, Lynne

I have enjoyed looking at the pictures of Lydia, your family and her friends! It sounds like Lydia is smiling now as beautiful as she was in all of those photographs! We have been praying for her and your family. We will add Ginny to our prayers as well. Much Love,
