Update July 5th 5:06 p.m. CST

Lydia is in surgery now where a rod will be put in from her hip to her knee. Her MRI results are not back yet to show any neck fractures. When she is stable after surgery they will remove the ventilator and watch her for 24 hours in ICU to make sure she can deep breathe. Since all of her ribs are broken it will be difficult for her to do so but she must do that to be off the ventilator. She also has a broken collar bone, clavicle, pelvis and nose plus lacerations all over her face. When she is stable they will try to talk to her about her neck to ask her questions about how it can move, etc.

Dear Jost Family, I am so, so sorry for the pain that both of the girls have had this summer. Your Winnataska Family has not forgotten you! We are praying for you everyday, and Ginny is missed at camp soooo much! I hope Lydia will heal with no future problems, and that Ginny will be able to come back to camp next year stronger than ever. We wish you the best. The blond registration sisters, Jann and Beth Montgomery (Fort).
