New update- 8:30 am

Love the new room and breakfast too! Lydia actually enjoyed the cream of wheat and apple juice. We have a great view of the helicopter pad (lots of noise). The doctors really do exist- and we got a few questions answered today. Lydia will be wheelchair bound for 6-8 weeks - so everyone beware (no drivers license required). She will have another x-ray today to check out the progress of her other fractures. A 2 inch laceration was found on the back of her head and that will be addressed today. It's great to be in the room with her 24/7. More updates as information changes. God has truly blessed us! Thanks for your continued prayers.

Hello from J.'s Christy!
I'm so glad to read the good reports and will continue to pray for a speedy recovery. Everyone at Erlanger took good care of me when I was there, so I expected the same for you, Lydia! :)
J. and I are planning a road trip to visit soon. I'll be happy to see you all again.
Keep growing stronger every day and know that another family in Birmingham is praying for you daily (mine).
Love,
Christy Anderson

Audrey,
You are in our thoughts and prayers. Alex, Abby, Scott, and I will lift both of your sweet girls up in prayer everyday. I am also praying for you and John to have the strength of the Holy Spirit!
This is my favorite verse:
Ezekiel 36:36
Then the nations around you that remain will know that I the Lord have rebuilt what was destroyed and have replanted what was desolate. I the Lord have spoken, and I will do it!
GOD REBUILDS LIVES!!!

I love you!!! Jennifer Summerlin

Audrey and John,
Bob and I were out of town and I have just read Cameron's blog! As parents, we constantly worry and pray for our children's safety and from what I've read Lydia's Guardian Angel was beside her! I know how difficult this has been for all of you but the road to recovery sounds promising.
I will continue to read the updates until we can talk and keep Lydia and your family in our prayers.
Your friends always, Sue and Bob

Lyd, I'm so glad I got to see you yesterday, your smile was as big as ever! You're going to have the coolest wheelchair ever, you know the Dumas girls will see to that. Tennis balls, a horn, cup holders, and even a boombox if you're feeling it. Oh, and we'll definitely find a place for Mr. Potato Head. Love you and I'll see you Thursday!

Love, Brett
